  1. I like to keep my seedlings small under a 14k cfl to let the roots grow better. Couldnt grow a plant with it if life depended on it but theyre great for root production.
By day ten theres literally a hundred tap roots. On a 3 node, 4inch tall plant. Then i plug them into the hydro res and they explode.

I'll follow your advice when fall comes. I thought about throwing them under a 2x2 led linear retrofit kit, but my wife would shoot me if I stole it off of her herb garden. Lol , not the same kind of herb..

  3. Been a while since update. Here are some pics.

As I had said in last post, I dropped first of regimen in to res 2 days after last post.

I upped my nutes yesterday to 700 ppm and made first and only topping on all three. They all already have new growth today, and I'm very pleased with their increase in root mass since adding voodoo juice to their diet.

The plant on far left (blueberry) is the shortest of the bunch but seems as though it will be a beast. Double the root zone of the other two. I'll get pics of those later today.

I have attached the scrog to the res lid so I can lift as one. I figured it would be a pain on the ass if they were separate once I start strapping down branches. Basically impossible with my space constraints.

Also added some radiant barrier to the res to help keep water temp down. By adding frozen bottles, I've managed to keep temps between 65 and 72, so it's seems to be working.

Tonight I will be killing lights for 24 and flipping em to 12/12 tomorrow. I know that I could run 1 more week before flip, but am doing it to keep the stretch a bit more controllable.

Time to burn one and start working on my new cabinet build.

    Goodbye - stay high

The girls look happy after their nap!

I'm really liking the pheno on the far left blueberry. Short, stocky, and crazy roots

I think I'm going to clone her in next few days before she has a chance to get into flower. I don't want that line to get away.

Hoping to be in preflower by end of week.

Blueberry right is a 2 days away from first tie.
Criminal middle seems to be a little slow reacting, or may not like my nutes regimen as much as the blueberries. I'll try it in my new cabinet solo next run. Under the net low and slow.
Blueberry left is doing her thing, and she was even wanting more nutes. Suspected nitrogen deficiency gave her a couple spots, but got it corrected the day after I noticed them. Seems better now.

  6. Looking good!

Be nice if that Criminal gets a growth spurt and catches up. Never know. :)

  7. That's what I'm hoping for. I may hit it with some superthrive foliar spray to see if the boost in hormones helps. (Before she gets into preflower)
Once the blues get tied further left/right, she'll have a little more room to stretch.

    Here's the latest on em.
Blueberry right is already spread on the net, and blueberry left is starting to catch up.

Criminal is staying true to its name and keeping its head low lol. Not to mention it's so bushy you'd think that I double topped it.

I think that might work out for the better once they flower though.

I'm hoping to see something in the next few days. So far all I see is new growth, no sign of fem yet. (Femmed seeds)

Oh hell... the wife has company coming over. I better get off here and burn one before they show up.
    Don't want'em thinking they're getting a free session. Lol

  9. No signs of flower yet, but filling the screen. I'll start defoling all the low stuff once filled.

I'm going to start running 1/2 & 1/2 nutes on next fill. I've got to see some flowering soon. 20180907_174333~2.jpg

  12. Thanks man!

I'm really pleased at how this scrog is working so far.

I figure by the time they bud, there should be around 30 or so sites above the net. Not too bad for a 20"x36" tent. (Imo)

  13. Hell I grow in my closet so you already doing well in my book lol

  14. It's in a closet, but had to have tent to control smell and lights since wife shares closet lol.
Otherwise she may be a bit loud for the office come flower time ha ha ha.

Water 4 inches deep in tent and res empty. Fml

Determined that the air pump had malfunction and created a siphon that emptied the whole thing.

I'm lucky I caught it when I did. We'll see how they fared today. (Got it all fixed in a hour or so)

  17. Well, it looks as though they survived with little or no damage.
I'm not completely off the hook yet though. I really got to watch the roots, and sensizym the hell out of them. (Already running h202)

Any other suggestions for preventive measures on the roots?
