So we've got our 1000W MH running right now. Week 5 of veg. We're seeing really slow growth. We're planning on switching to an HPS bulb as soon as we flower (12/12.) This is because I've heard that MH is better for veg, while HPS is better for flower. I'm curious though. Would starting the HPS bulb while we're still in veg give us faster growth than the MH we're currently running? Thanks blades =]
if they're both the same quality bulb, the MH will promote better veg growth as it has more blue spectrum than the HPS (which is more of what the plant uses in veg).
