Has anybody use the 1,000 watts hortilux-blue metal halide bulb? I was told you can use this bulb during veg and flowering stages! Has anyone got any good results from it? Plead let me know!!!!!
Regardless yes it will work. But it is not the same as a HPS. You'd be better getting a conversion bulb if your ballast isn't switchable. You won't get the same density in flowers I believe.
Metal Halide usually brings out more trichs if its 60/40 then you got a great light. There have been some grow journals on here where they use HPS/MH and the best plants are where the lights over lap.
