Mello music and Jazz

    Guys give me some good Jazz and Mello music, I want some relaxation music right now im so in the mood.

    There's nothing better than Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. Start there.

    Again, this is the first cd anyone new to Jazz should have.

    Other "mellow" Jazz artists to check out would be Bill Evans, Bill Frisell, Ben Webster, Brad Mehldau (lots of B's)

    thats a start...

    It's not jazz, but check out these CD's:

    Michael Hedges - Aerial Boundaries
    Phil Keaggy - Acoustic Sketches
    Don Ross - Passion Session

    All are incredible fingerstyle, acoustic guitarists. Some of the best music I've ever heard.

    St. Germain is a sick artist. Good call.


    You should also get "Ambient 1: Music for Airports" by Briano Eno. It's an incredible cd; very relaxing and trippy.

    absolute +rep for Michael Hedges. Breakfast In The Field is his other album which is incredible.
