Medical Marijuana

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by krh36, May 1, 2013.

  1. I live in Vancouver, where it is pretty common to have a prescription. However I dont want to go to my family dr to ask if he will prescribe weed for my insomnia. Should I ask him, go to another dr or just avoid it and buy from dealers instead? Has anyone had experience with this?

  2. If you want a real license that makes it legal to smoke, you have to go through health Canada and have a real illness
You cant just ask for a prescription for weed. If you just want to buy from a dispensary they all seem to have their own rules. Look up the one of your choice and there will be an entire section telling you how to become a member. I wouldn't try my family doctor, he would tell me to get lost. Your best bet is to probably find a cannabis friendly doctor, have a confirmed diagnoses, and bring him them a release form and all the paperwork
