i know there are 13 states that have medical mj right now, and 2 of them trying to legalize mj. my question it how many other states are trying to legalize mmj? someone told me 14. that would make 27 out of 50 states that would have mmj laws. i think we should try to focus on state level legalization. if we can get 30-35 states with mmj laws. the feds would have to at least listen to us. what do you think?
Florida (the state with toughest laws on marijuana, seriously it's ridiculous) has a petition led by PUFMM (pronounced puff'em, People United for Medical Marijuana). If they get enough signatures and donations, the amendment would be up for vote next year (November 2010).
