Medical marijuana and drug test in Canada

    I'm looking to go back to Alberta shortly for work once again and the means pre job drug test. I have my medical card. Does this affect me?

    Yes this will still effect you if the employer has a drug and alcohol policy.

    If you have a prescription they may outline some safety sensitive duties that may be removed from you work duties.

    I'm in Alberta as well! Economy is shit as well as you NDP goverment.

    Let us know how the interviews go and what the employers say.

    You do need to disclose it at time if hire if asked what if any prescription medication you are on.

    Just my $0.02.
