  1. I am building a 6ft x 4ft x 6ft freestanding room inside my basement. I will be framing it with 2x4's and was wondering what the best material would be to use for the walls. should I use dry wall or plywood or something else entirely?

  2. you can do plywood. sturdy and easy.

  3. Ya I'd second that, drywall is a real pain in the ass to setup and it crumbles like a stale cracker when you try to drill into it. Plywood for sure because you will need to hang stuff to the ceiling and walls.

  4. I think that thick foam works good too, you can use it to make doors and walls. Its like 3inches thick id say, really stiff Styrofoam. lightproof, light, and pretty easy to use
