I used to be what they called a "lane technician" at a bowling alley. All I would do was collect bowling balls and put them back on the racks, help bowlers if they weren't smart enough to set up their own game on the computer, get pins that were stuck in the gutters ("deadwood") and set up for leagues to come in and bowl.
