Seeds from Herbies: 3 Candy Kush and 5 Heavyweight massive midget. All germinated with the shotglass method and just now started in rapid rooter plugs. It has been exactly 48 hours since the seeds touched water and all have taproots started. Meanwhile, I'm getting ready to chop the fast and vast that have been stinking up my grow room something awful.
Here are some pics of current crop dropped into water on May 6th with germination (day 1) on the 8th. This is day 68 for this crop.
I will be using the aeroflo-18 unit again with Lucas FloraNova strategy with hydroguard booster. I will start with cal-mag in my RO water right off the bat since I had some early cal-mag problems. Light is a Solar Storm 440. I'm thinking about adding another or maybe just filling in with a MARS-HYDRO LED as extra lighting to better power the grow.
Day 11 from seed. The massive midgets are moving along much faster than the candy Cush autos. All the massive midgets have good root development already much better than the CK. I dropped an extra candy Kush seed 4 days later than the rest.
Temps up to 83 during day. Down to 70 at night. Using 2ml of hydroguard per gallon and 2ml of GH flora nova. Ph at 5.9. No signs of stress.
15 days from seed - 13 days from germination. 10 days from when it sprouted leaves above soil. So far, there is a very, very slight tip browning on three leaves out of all 9 plants. I've been running half strength bites for 2 days, now and they appear to be very happy. Added the extra solarstorm 440 two days ago, as well. Temps averaging 78-80 daytime, 50% humidity. 5.7 ph, 4ml GH FloraNova per gallon of RO water. 2ml hydroguard per gallon. The massive midgets are really moving along while the auto candy Kush is still developing noticeably smaller. Heavyweight seeds has some strong aggressive genetics. Their fast and vast kicked ass, too.
Sweet 16. I dropped these seeds in water 16 days ago. The massive midgets are just ROCKING. . Candy Kush still looking good but just not developing as quickly as the MM. But all are looking very strong.
Subbed in. I use the 220 solar flare indoors but only have a 2 x 2 x 6 tent. I mostly focus on outside growing now. Plan on adding the 110 solar flare eventually. Day 18 update picture. Feeling good about everything at once his point. No changes to anything. Still 20/4 schedule.
No surprises on day 19. Everything still looking good. PH stable at 5.8. Ppm at 800 even. nice growth for less than 24 hours. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Love clw but once I can grow in a bigger indoor I am going ceramic metal halide. Bulbs are phillips master color. Supposed to be the future of mh/hps. I'm thinking about getting hotter lights got the winter season. These work well for my grow space because they're relatively cool.
Looking great so far man. Let's Smoke About It..... -Adam Demamp My Majestic Indoor & Outdoor Grow Journal http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1357687-Sade's-Solar-Adventures
