Since Massachusetts decriminalized possession of marijuana in 2008 the police don't really bother you unless you give them a reason to. In the past few years there have been a few tickets given. - I believe 1 arrest but that was because someone brought alcohol onto the Common.

There are 365 days in a year, this rally only happens 1 day out of the year. So 16 days is truly only a couple days when looking at the big picture. Plus will people busy at work and busy getting back to school, time will fly and the 17th will pop right up.
