GM marijuana problem growing in Colombia - Yahoo! News lol "local authorities said the arrival of genetically modified seeds, which are imported from Europe and the United States have allowed "a bigger production and better quality at the same time"."
Are they confusing genetic modification with "selective breeding"? Genetic engineering - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Or are the cannabis breeders in the U.S. and the Netherlands now splicing recombinant DNA or synthetic genes into their seeds? I doubt it. This is an interesting quote also: Pretty bad...
Yea that entire article seemed like blatant propoganda to me. I just wonder what the point is? It seems like a very stupid mistake if they didn't realize genetic modification was different from selective breeding. Almost like they're trying to make us look like the bad guys all the sudden, lol. Our government is the king of genetic modification and they do it unethically and nobody hears shit about it, oh but lets incorrectly call this the same thing!
