Does anyone else live in a state where a Marijuana Party candidate ran? I just voted for a Marijuana Party candidate for Governor and Congressman and I was curious...
WTF? I'm in southern Vermont too, and I didn't see the Marijuana Party on the ballot... But I guess I didn't look further then Douglas for governor. Edited cause I was wrong that it's primarily a Vermont party.... I think they usually have good representation here though, as opposed to other states.
Well, she was listed as Independent, but she was the candidate for the Marijuana Party. Politicians in Vermont are pretty cool, especially Bernie Where in Vermont you live?
Gotta love Bernie! I heard on the news last night that this was the first time since 1970 that he's not on a vermont ballot! He said people were still coming up to him telling that their voting for him, lol. I'm in Brattleboro
I did... he's been a decent governor and keeping vermont yankee open is one of my top voting issues for local politics.
WOO! Brattleboro = best place in Vermont imo. Nice record shops down there. I live right outside of Ludlow, I envy you =[ And about Douglas, yeah he's been an alright governor, didn't vote for him, but I'm not going to get upset when he wins tonight... I basically voted for socialists when i could, with the exception of Tom Costello for Lt. Governor , I'm not a huge Dubie fan (although the last name makes me laugh...) Bernie has always been my favorite politician since i was like 7. He paid for one of my friend's christmas presents out of his own pocket once, i think he's an overall great guy
Ludlow is a beautiful area. I used to live in Rutland, and loved it up there. I can't complain about Brattleboro though. We DID get to vote to indict George Bush for war in our last election
Ludlow's alright, it's no Brattleboro though. I'm not the biggest Rutland fan though, My mother lives in West Rutland, and I've been in Rutland a lot, I just don't like it, it's kind of a depressing place =/
