Marijuana in past societies/civilization

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by CyclicDreams, Nov 19, 2011.

  1. Obviously it'd be a much different experience. Everyone now brings up bongs and bowls nowadays, but what do you think smoking was like in the far past and what they'd smoke it out of? Do you think it was a social thing and/or something people would do on their own? I'm blazed and having those highdeas right now and just curious to see what you guys think. Do you guys think marijuana was prevelant and used in many past civilizations?

  2. Well they had wooden pipes for tobacco in the 1800s so I could see like Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson in a circle like to homie pass that shit haha

  3. Indians and other civilizations would take the whole plant, lots of them, and put them into giant bowls (like torches). They would set the bowls on fire during religious gatherings and everyone would get major second hand while worshipping their God/Gods.
