Marijuana for Immigrants in CA...?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Legalization' started by moonrichard, Jan 7, 2018.

  1. Now that marijuana is completely legal in California and there are legal shops around I had a serious question. A lot of people I know are not citizens, they have legal paperwork and visas to be in the States but for now they remain immigrants. Are there any repercussions for buying legally at a shop for these people? You have to give them your California ID and do a very simple quick registration but does that information become accessible to the Federal Government? How would they even get caught?

  2. What does adult use and consumption have to do with immigration status or citizenship?

Is it not the same as any adult buying a six pack of beer or a bottle of wiskey?

  3. Nobody has given a shit in Calif since 1996 when the medical was enacted.
I've never seen anybody turned down for a medical card in the 22 years that system was operating and the new one isn't much different.
