OK so I plan to use soil as my grow medium for my first project. will I need to mix this soil with anything? and how often will I need to water and how much water will the plants need? Is there a rule of thumb such as amount of water to the size of plant in inches or anything to go by? and I also need info on which nutrients to use as well as how much per amount of water etc.. ? can I keep the seedlings in a large pot or shall I use smaller pot to start with then transplant to larger ones once they get bigger? What kind of soil? Just telling us "soil" isn't telling us much at all. Water thoroughly when you do and then not at all until the soil dries out a bit. Definitely do not give a little water every day, that will just drown the roots and beneficial microbes in the soil. Read up, all these basics are pre-answered for you in the sticky threads and grow guides.
