Males and risk of pollination (?)

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by herbHal, Jan 25, 2009.

  1. Just out of curiosity, how mature do the male organs need to become for there to be a risk of pollination? From what I see in pictures the male parts have multiple sacs; would it have to get to a point where the male parts have multiple sacs, or would there be possible pollination while the plant only has single sacs?

Can anyone offer any insight or pictures on this? Thanks in advance.

  2. You will get multiple sacs almost right away. And as soon as you can see sacs there is the potential for them to spread pollen.

  3. Agree with toasty. They can shoot their load surprisingly rapidly.
