Male Pollen

    An odd thought just occurred to me as I was being paranoid about my girls. Does male pollen have to come from a LIVE plant?
    SCENARIO: You're tending your garden, you go pack a bowl and come right back, you end up with what you THINK is a hermie. Can it be the "pollen" came from your stash?

    I'm just being paranoid, but could this actually happen?

    No. Pollen, unless stored properly, has a shelflife measured in hours.
