In potent strains the males will usually produce enough trichomes on the upper leaves to get a buzz. A rare male will frost up all over the nutsacks, adjoining stems and leaves- those are the breeders. To the OP, I bet smoking those pollen sacks was kind of nasty eh? I've smoked the minute leaves off the tops of males before in hard times, but never considered the sacks.!!
