Male photoperiod question

    O this may sound stupid to don't make fun of me if it is a noob question but I heard that a male plant can grow pollen sacks even without a 12/12 photoperiod. I know that both males and females will show preflowers but I thought you had to change to 12/12 before the females would grow flowers and the males grow their sacks.

    So the question is will a male grow pollen sacks while getting 18/6 hours of light if vegged long enough?

    Yes. But it willnnot be full flower

    Plenty of pollen will be produced though.

    Usually true, but not guaranteed.


    Possible. They wouldn't be invisible, though, if you are watching your plants you will know if this is starting to happen.

    I might be out of town so that's why I was asking :) plus it's good to know that way I can pass down correct information if someone ask me :)
