Making Tinture with kief?

Don't use kief for edibles..
Save your mids for them.

 

I mean, I don't see why it wouldn't work, provided you let the alcohol sit for quite some time. Making tincture isn't an instant process. Otherwise, you could decarb the kief (just search these forums for a how-to), and it could be a more-or-less instant affair. Just pour de-carbed kief into alcohol (or any liquid, really) and chug. It should do the trick.

 

I DO THIS IT WORKS

Grind bud 4G
Spread bud on a piece of aluminum foil
Put in oven@ 325f for 5 min
Place a wide mouth 1 pint canning with 2 oz of 151 proof rum in a pan with 2 inches of water and the vent fan on. Bring the 151 up to 170f while decarboxylating your bud. Add the decarbed bud to the 151 it will be at a slight boil. Cook 20 minutes while your cooking, grind up 1/2g of hash and decarb using bks methods. Remove your canning jar now with green dragon in it from the pan with the water. Strain the liquid through a strainer lined with wet cheese cloth. Rinse your canning jar then rewash your material with 1 more once of 151. Then take your cheese. Cloth and make a little bundle with your bud in it. Put that in a garlic press and squeeze all the goodness out into your canning jar. Add you decarbed hash keif or oil to the jar and put your canning jar with your second wash and the hash or concentrate in it back into a pan with water. Cook for 20 min stirring constantly temp 170. Add this to your first batch and you have Green Dragon Tincture. I use amber glass dropper bottles I get at the container store light damages THC. Each batch comes out wit varying potency. I titrate with 1 dropper wait 2 hr's to check. Enjoy that high mellow or strong. Next day I adjust my dose.

Untrue...Glycerin tinctures could be made in as little as a couple days.

Decarb the bud, pour just enough glycerin to cover it in a jar, shake the fuck out of it for a few minutes a couple times a day and you'll have a tincture in like 3-4 days. And it will be potent depending on what you used (Weed, keif, hash) And obviously the longer you leave it the stronger it will get, but only to a certain degree...Most of the potency is extracted pretty damn quickly and the months people sometimes wait is to leech out every last little tiny bit.

This isn't necessary though because if you do it for say a week... you'd be set.

You speed up the process by heating the alcohol in the water bath @ 170 for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes the tincture is done. … and it is so nice!!!! Very relaxing if you use an Indica and good for pain. My Sativa batch is much different. This can change your life.......

 

^if you heat glycerin up to around 300 you could have a tincture in 10 minutes.

 

Never made a glycerine tincture before don't know the rules for that one. I'm sure you can find on this site Wild Wills glycerin Tincture I think good luck
