Does anyone have tips on making a bamboo pipe? I can't seem to find anything too useful on google. The main question I have is: if the bowl is made from bamboo too, does it not burn? or is there something to coat it with to prevent it from actually burning. otherwise making it seems pretty self explanatory... i just don't understand how to make the bowl so it wouldn't burn/catch on fire... also i saw someone wrapped the long part of the pipe with string, what effect does that have on the pipe? thanks guys!
I have made wooden pipes before, and I would recommend getting a brass plumbing coupling at the hardware store, or a brass bowl. Then drill a 3/8 hole into the top of the bamboo, screw the bowl in (all blass bowls/ sink couplings are 3/8) and make it into a nice steamroller. Hope I could help. It will give huge hits.
