Maine MMJ Laws Question

    The 'Medical Marijuana Act' was passed in Maine, giving the ability to apply for a card as well as dispensaries; does anyone know when it goes into effect?

    I have been looking everywhere for an answer, but can't find anything. Right now, I know all I need is my doctors note, but I don't want to be caught in the middle of something where if I don't apply by a certain date I could be fucked....also because there are no applications anywhere on the Maine.gov website (atleast that I can find).
