Magnesium deficiency / Coco

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Tomfw86, Jun 11, 2021.

  1. So new room, new area, new set up, gone through all the motions and corrected many problems a new set up brings!

Hopefully my final problem (probably not)

I’ve had high humidity, which I didn’t realise, sometimes high as 88% - but it’s been above 70% a lot of the time.

So I’m showing a definite sign of Mag deficiency, medium is coco.

Now I have the humidity under control, so shall I wait a week or so before I change my nutes or add Cal-Mag. By the way not all plants are effected as bad as the picture, some only very minor. Thus making me think it’s a definency in the Coco rather then humidity causing it..

I still have a little cupping/canoe’ing of the leaves but I reckon this must have been a high humidity issue, but we will find out in the next few days I guess!

    What are your thoughts?

Also, my PH in the feed, likes to rise, I will bring it down to 5.7/8 before feed but is this possibly causing a problem within in the Coco?

I have read you need to supplement Coco with Cal-Mag, however using advanced nutrients and they came you don’t need to as their mix is perfect..

    Pictures below!

All opinions welcome and will be helpful!
