I went to a supply store today and was told by the owner that Lumatek ballasts emit some sort of high frequency that is trackable by those who would not be happy with growers. Has anyone ever heard of this claim before? Of course, he wanted us to buy another type of ballast so maybe that is his reasoning, but sounds sort of weird... Any thoughts on this?
It sounds like BS to me. Everything of that nature emits some type of soundwave, but I don't think there is a way of tracking a ballast. Its a poor sales pitch.
yeah it was weird cause i have gotten stuff through them b4. not sure what that says of a working relationship if you get weirded out that easily!
