It's too risky. One hit could be like 50ug or 150ug; in other words... you could just get a really strong high, or you could trip hard... don't risk it.
If you had some experience with the drug, it would be no problem. I'm assuming this is obviously your first time, hence the question. If you are going to do this around you parents, do it at night, when they are less active (less of a chance they will be around the house, etc...). My personal opinion is wait until they aren't around.
I've been around my mom on acid before, I'm not sure she noticed. I'm sure she noticed I was acting different, but who knows... I'd say if you can't afford it, don't try and risk it...
the first time i dropped i forgot that i had to ref 3 soccer games later that evening. ate the cid at 1:30, started reffing at 7:30. i was freaking out a little at first, but no one had any idea, and i relaxed and did a mediocre job.
