Well yeah it isn't impossible but it stinks like its a fucking 8' plant......but its so small. As for the yield thing, yeah. You have to grow them in bulk.
Yeah sea of green all the way, Mabey something to do in the future but right now theres only room for 1 plant 2 at a push in my cupboard, Great for beginners who are getting into growing but as its life cycle is half that of a normal plant and there also sturdy little things that will take alot of abuse and can flower with 24hrs lights instead of the 12/12. Yeah, you got me there, It is very easy man, but i grow for myself and a few mates, in order to achieve a good amount it would mean having to do 15-20 of them, where i stay 1-2 plants will get you a small fine if any and slap on the wrists, If i got done with 20 i would be looking at a sentance

it is still very hard to tell which is which.they all look very much alike.all sprouted out.all tiny little hair so tiny i cant even be certain if its a male or female.looks hairy with tiny white hairs all over though.

yep i'm checking them at least twice a day.still very hard to see yet.its my first grow so i'm not that good to tell the gender at the earliest.i got that girl by luck as that shows 4 little hair pistil.i looked at a few pics on how to tell the gender but still very hard to tell.is there a easier way?
the watts have less to do with it rather then the lumen output of the bulbs. a 40 watt high output florou can put out 2500 lumuns ( you can even get these at walmart for $9.99 a bulb) as to a 400watt that puts out 50,000 lumens. if you break that math down-- ten 40 watt florous will put out 25,000 lumens, about half the TRUE power of High intensity discharge, hps or mh, but in return flourescents run at a lower temp then HID's making them more suitiable for smaller applications.
some update, got my new box built, just a little more to finish tomorrow. need to cover the top and the front and its all done. but no one go in to the room so it be fine, window is sealed off no lights gets out anyway I moved the lights up higher a bit after moving everything over, this there's a good bit room left to move the lights up higher again, so this should do from seed to buds for lowryder #2, thinking going for white widow after this lots, 4 ft high box, keep the white widow around 3.5ft, should still have a good yield on them, I only be growing 5 plants at a time next time, but feminise seeds only, don't want to make no mistake on sexing any input guys appreciated, thanks
Nice man looking good! A got rid of the 250wCFL and got a new 400wHPS with heat shield! It cost 100 for everything ! Al try get some photos up soon but box is looking good! You got a wee temp/humidity reader for the box??
no I haven't got one of those, but I can tell the temp is fine just room temp, not too warm, around 15c to 20c max as thats what the house normally is throught the year oh I have close up pics on another thread "is it possible for anyone to tell the gender? mind have a look and see what you think? thanks
