My Uncle who is an LEO, shared this with me. All the cruisers in town just got hooked up with new cameras. These camera can zoom in up to 200m away and have extreme quality at this distance too. We were fuckin' around with it and he pointed the camera at 2 people 2 blocks down talking. Zoomed it in on their face and if you could lip read, you could understand them. Same with license plates, they're clear at that distance too. Insane technology. Oh yeah, what makes it worse? They have a fucking night vision mode. I don't know how popular these are getting, but they were given to the pd free on a government program so I'm sure many other pd's got these aswell.
agreed... thats kinda fucked up, they are gonna abuse those cameras so much.. looking through peoples windows lol
