Looking for big cheap CPU heatsinks

    Hey everyone,

    I'm looking for some big CPU heatsinks, something that would fit and cool 2 50w COB's. So basically what I'm asking for is what big old CPU's / sockets had the biggest coolers in them? I was thinking something like this from an old Dell Poweredge 2850, you can pick them up on ebay for about $5ea when you buy them in lots.

    check your local recycling centers tons and tons of computers go through those places

    if your looking for brand new i'd go with the artic alpine 11 it's a passive sink good for about 35-40w(95x95x65mm) or if you want fan mount the artic alpine 11 plus or 64 plus.

    although passive is bout $18 and fan is $25
