well. im having serious problems writing rock and rollish riffs. i play a variety of music but the basics of what i like are rock a roll, and some minor rock and roll(sadder sounding) but i cant seem to write a decent riff. they all come out sounding like half assed solos. can anyone link me to some articles or some decent riffs for inspiration? a newbie guitarist lookin for help. ive been playing for roughly a year and a half
Look for scales on the internet, and modify them in any way but dont change the frets, and just go with what feels right. Glad I was here to help
