Look at this Bud Please

    Does this bud look ready to harvest. I have no idea what strain this is.
    I am new to this.This is the 7th week of flowering.Any input would be greatly
    appreciated.

    By my eye it ain't ready, invest in a magnifying glass.

    Yea if you don't have a loupe/microscope then wait until the pistils curl back in

    You can try using your phone, and zoom in for a trich pic. Works better than guessing. You're getting close though

    Thanks for your input.I have a 40x jewelers loupe just not real
    good at using it yet.I was thinking 1 week to 2 weeks more.Does that sound right to you ?

    good at using it yet.I was thinking 1 week to 2 weeks more.Does that sound right to you ?

    Yea I'd say 2... you're looking for trikes to change from clear(like glass) to cloudy(like plastic)...and some of them to turn amber/gold colored

    When to harvest is an art, not science.
    THC is maximum when a few trichomes start to turn yellow.

    You could try harvesting a few colas to see how you like this amount of ripeness.
    They will lose 75-80% of their weight after drying.
    So harvesting 50 g will get you about 10 g dry.

    Earlier ripening plants can be partially harvested while waiting for others to catch up.
