so i just got a digital camera, but i cant find a USB port on my computer to uplaod the pics. its about 8 years old, has a voodoo 3 card if that matters..? just wondering if older computers maybe dont have one, which means ill have to go to my bros to get this all done. hopefully someone can help, if you need more details ask.
Older motherboards generally don't have USB. If you do have them on an older computer it would be in the back somewhere. Though I've never used this I know they sell USB adapters. You put it in your PCI slot and it'll have a few USB ports. I don't know how well they work since I never needed one.
Here is a picture of a USB slot so you know exactly what to be looking for, just incase you dont know what they look like. As Unclescam777 said, you mite not have one if you have a very old Mother Board. Also, like he said, you can just purchase a USB adapter. They go right into the PCI slot, and generaly have 3 or 4 ports.
