Litmus paper to test Ph?

    I have alot of the little strips of paper with the color changing tabs on them I use to test the Ph of my jacuzzi. Can I use those to test the Ph of soil? If not do they sell Ph testing kits at home depot?

    use the litmus paper to test the ph of the run off water from the soil

    So your saying after I water I should test the water that flows outa the bottom of the pot?
