Okay so I started waitressing part time at a bar that will remain unnamed. As a waitresses I am subject to sign a makeup agreement that states I will not wear any red lipstick, very dark lipstick, or an unnatural color of lipstick. I'm also not allowed to wear "overly bright eyeshadow colors." apparently these thing can affect how much we make in tips based on those looks and it's not fair to the waitresses who dont like to wear makeup. What the fuck.
You do think its fair though. Or else you wouldnt have signed it. Be normal a few hours a day and make some money. Welcome to America.
Most females look better when they don't have a face full of makeup, and I know a lot of guys here agree. Try feeling comfortable in your own skin. You can definitely still make good tips without looking like a tramp. If you don't like their policies then don't work there.
