    So I'm on a pretty low budget right now but need to build my flower room, I was wondering if I could get some advice on the cheapest lights to go with that would still provide adequate lighting...it's about 6x12x8 ...hoping to squeeze 5 in or so

    For that large a space, HID is more economical. Two 600W, is what I would start with.

    What if you had say just one 1000 watt how much could that cover?

    a dozen of them maybe. Again - for the money, HID is the way to go for large areas.

    So I went hid but I got a sweet deal on a 1000 w setup (100$us) for everything, ballast an cool tube hood, I decided to shrink my room down to 5x6x8 do you think this one 1000w will be sufficient?
