I'm converting one of my garage cabinets into a grow cabinet. It's big enough to hold two 5 gallon pots with a plant in each. I'm wondering if this light will be sufficient: http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-FLCDG125D-125-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent/dp/B001UV6P9I Thanks in advance for your help!
For 1 it would work, but if you did 2 the nugs would probably be really fluffy and unappealing. I would just do 1, or get some more light.
They have a 150 hps on amazon or the 125 watt cfl u first mentioned would work just invest in some mixed spectrum lights from ur local wal mart maybe three 23 watt red spectrum as aditional lighting bumping total,to 200 watts more then plenty for a couple three plants
Like this guy... Amazon.com: Sun System® HPS 150 Grow Light Fixture: Patio, Lawn & Garden Won't it produce a lot more heat?
Ya its gonna put out some heat but depending on ventalation it should be fine I use that exact cfl combo though and its workin good
