Hi, im a total newb to indoor growing and i just started the 12/12 light cycle in my cabinet (4 plants). my questions are about lighting for flowering. i currently have 4x23w daylight cfl and 1x23w cfl with an orangy spectrum. i was wondering if this is sufficient? (probably not) but if it isnt i also have 4x75w(equivelant) 24" floro fixtures. they have a ballast built into the fixture so i should just be able to pop em in and put them on my timer also. another question is where should i hang them? they dont get hot at all so im not worried about burning the little (i hope) girls. should i screw them into the walls vertically so all the plants get light on all sides? thanks for reading and any advice/criticism is welcome. and here are a couple pics of my little babies
50W-100W is a general rule. with 1 plant having 100W you can usually do okay if the other plants get 50W at least.
People often say 50-100, I believe the general rule is 75-125. Bottom line is the more the better. You want to spread out the light so its even - yes. Keep them close.
