I just have a general question about light bulbs. If I buy a 100w hps or mh with a medium base can I then put that in a standard socket or do I still have to have a switchable ballast? Any info on bulb bases would be appriciated, i know nothing about them...also not that I would even consider it but we were debating whether xenon bulbs grow pot?
HID bulbs require a ballast to power them. Also, the bulbs won't fit into a standard socket. I know nothing of xenon bulbs.
