I have a 400 Watt magnetic ballast I have 1 standard 400 watt hps, 2 400watt MH Conv. Lamps, and a Hortilux Super. The only Bulb That will Start is the Standard Hps i think its a GE Bulb. The others just flicker but wont catch. I am wondering what this could be im sure the bulbs are good. I even tried bending the tab out in the Mogul Socket but to no avail only the standard bulb will start? Any Help will be greatly appreciated.
How old are you bulbs and ballasts? When HID lights flicker usually means they're toast. I'd take them to your local grow shop and have them tested.
