Ok so I have a grow box but I was wondering which is better to use for a 34"(h)x31"(L)x16"(w) grow box clearly for vegging but I'm using compact flors Ok so either 4 45 watt bulbs that are =a 200 watt bulbs each or 6 23 watt bulbs that = 45 watts each which do you think is best?
Do you have a bigger space for flowering? I don't use CFL's, but if those are wattage conversions I see, I think they can be misleading. You'll want a second opinion on that. Anyway, I shop by lumens, not wattage, and the more the merrier. I would imagine the 45 watt bulbs have more lumen output, but I'm not sure how it would compare to a greater amount of 23 watt bulbs. Having an additional 2 CFL's will cover a greater space, which is something else to consider. That's a really small space by the way... about the size of a space I'd use for flowering clones to determine sex.
