Okay now I'm confused. I've been told that t5's were just fine for all cycles during growth. Now I read this site "hydroponic-growing-systems.com" and they say you really shouldn't be using t5's for flowering???? Are cfl's going to be the better option for flowering?
t5's are more efficient than cfl bulbs. You can definitely grow from seed to harvest with t5's. I've done it. Obviously an HPS will yield better results.
You'll be fine with T5s they also sell mixed spectrum for T5s. CFLs are fine to but can be a pain once your plant starts going. Agree with the above.
