I'm working on one little plant, not trying to grow an entire garden, just one nice plant that will yeild some decent bud. The seed has sprouted and I need light. I'm not sure, though, if I should buy a small sopt light or full compact system. I read that I should only use fluorescent, MH, or HPS lamps. With that in mind, can someone give me some leads of lamps that I can buy? I was reading about an HPS lamp called Son Agro, which seems to have a high lumens output. I read that I need at least 2k lumens, maybe 150 watts. I just need a good recommendation, otherwise, I'll just experiment myself. Thanks.
Well first, if your using bagseed, you might want to do more than one seed in case you get am ale. Secondly, lighting depends on your budget and grow area. You dont want something that creates a lot of heat if you dont have room to ventilate. Fluro's and CFL's are cheaper than HID's, however arent as strong, so you have to decide which is best for you. A 150W would be good for one to two P's tops.
