this is my light trap i made today for my cabinet grow. its 11" high,6" wide,5" deep. My fan is a 120mm pc fan and the light trap is fitted to the back, outside the cabinet . I havnt painted it black yet but it works really well even without being painted. Stuff needed: duct tape scissors/knife measuring tape cardboard boxes black paint How to: -measure and mark out the pieces of cardboard, youll need: sides(2):11" long,6" wide top&botom(2): 5" deep,6" wide front(below fan):5"long,6" wide back(above air hole): 5"long,6"wide light trap pieces(2):6"wide,3"long -cut out the pieces -paint the pieces black -duct tape the top&bottom to a side and tape the other side to the top and bottom. Then tape a light trap piece to each front and back piece. Tape the front and back pieces to the box and have the light trap peices in box. Then tape the light trap pieces in place(horizontal to top and bottom). Tape the light trap to the outside of the fan and tape up any light leaks around the light trap. Finished
cool but i like mine. Cost me nothing and is perfect for what i need.i will have a carbon filter fitted onto the back so doesnt need to be flush.
