Does anyone know if it's okay to give plants a break in light during the veg stage? Run lights for 10 hours, switch em off for 4 hours and turn em on for another 8? and leave em off for another 2? So will a plant go into flowering if it doesn't receive a constant 18-24 hours of light like the sun?
you should give them some dark time in veg cycle, its not necessary but i always do it and im sure most pro growers do BUT the way your talking about it is a big no no no haha The plant will most def. turn hermie or something if you dont have the lights on for a constant 18 to 20 hours of light during veg cycle, and 12 hours of on and off light for flowering. So remember 20 hours on 4 hours off, or if you want leave them on 24 hours a day, just as long as your in the veg cycle

i believe plants grow just as fast under 18/6 as they do under 24/0 during dark time the roots grow more
