I have some bbs germing and a few have sprouted but haven't shed the seed pod. They are planted in jiffy peat pots under 400w mh about 26in away. my dirt seems to dry really quickly and I'm wondering if I should raise the lights some more? I've been tryin to keep the dirt moist but am afraid of overwatering. Any suggestions?
Increase the available humidity... you should allow those peat pots to stand in a little water,,it will help,, they lose water from all sides naturally. Also try not to allow the bulb heat from getting to the pots,,,as woody said,,,a small fan blowing the heat between bulb, and plant away ,,will help as well.
