Hey guys, I have a 400w HPS light that will randomly (maybe once every few hours) just cut out, (almost like it overheats and shuts down) it hums and glows for 2-3 minutes and kicks back on. Now do you think it is the bulb on its way out, or the ballast is fucked? Thanks for any advice.... lata
Might be overheating, Or it may be set to auto turn off for a few min. Check the manual if you have it or look for a switch on the back. If its overheating just add some fans.
