Lifes getting worse and worse

    went to get my college grade today for my course, Tv & film , got a pass on it instead of the merit i needed to get onto the next course, not gunna go into all the bullshit that my course had. mum is pretty pissed, so am i. depressions coming back, shit is gunna get bad again.
    ive had pretty bad depression a lot of my life, started smoking weed about 5 months ago, i really think its helped my depression, admittedly i smoke when i get depressed.
    just got high and i duno what to do and shit, guys any ideas sorry this is vague im baked

    EDIT: i am a total loner stoner, i havent got any friends anymore, i have no girlfriend anymore.
    life is totally fucked, also im a daily self harmer when i am depressed and cant get high.
    i live in the middle of nowhere in the country in england. so going out places is pretty unfeesable as i dont have friends to go out with, also i still cant drive although im doing lessons.

  3. i gave 95%. but honestly mate i need some kind and helpful words right now, not telling me that my life is fucked because i made it fucked.

  7. bro hang in there. dont be using weed to get away from depression...use it as a reward. and study more, take things slowly.

    what pisses me about society is how fast people live their lives and not enjoy what is around them.
     
  8. Ok. Your situation is difficult, but you won't get out of it by giving up. Take a long hot shower and get some sleep. Eat something you like. Fix yourself a cup of tea/coffee/etc. & sit somewhere comfortable. Relax for a few minutes.

    Then, get a pen & paper and write down what has to happen for you to get through this. Do you need to take the class again? get a tutor? speak to someone at the school?

    Then write down the specific steps you'd need to do: get ___'s phone number, check ____ requirements, etc.

    Finally, sit down with your parents & say: here's what I need to do and how I plan to do it. I'm sorry I didn't do well this term, but here's how I'm going to fix it.

    Then do it, and try really hard. No need to beat yourself up, just pick your chin up and give it another shot.

  9. Don't live life depressed. No one knows exactly how long they have in their One lift to live. Believe me I've seen way too many people go, young and people close to me. Life goes on, the past is the past. You have to make your one chance count, and live a great life. Sitting around moping is only going to be a regret when you look back on it. Theres nothing to be "depressed" about its school, not death of close friends/family.
     
  10. retake the class and move on. Sounds like your taking things WAY to seriiously. Even if they are serious things you need to relax a little. I failed courses in college when i slacked..... I retook them and moved on. Im guessing your 25 or younger easily you got a good 50 years to pass your class, get some friends, and all those other things you claim to lack

  12. @MikeJacobs life is hard man, just know your not a lone. Thats why we all come to grasscity, it may be over the internet but all the love of a community is here. "keep your head up." - 2pac. Hang in there man and do the best you can and things will turn up. Make sure you enjoy the things in life that make you happy. I know personally I just brush the good off of my shoulders and all I can see is the negative.

  14. In regard to education, I had a similar experience. I was almost put on academic suspension because my gpa fell close to the limit. This was partly due to loosing a beautiful girl that I had relations with for three years, and finding myself without any friends at the college I attend. I understand how you must feel but be strong and find the courage to best yourself. The only way to become successful is to not give up and fight for the goals you wish to achieve. I am happy to say my grades lately have been superb and my outlook is changing because my mindset has changed.

    Go to the gym and exercise or pick up body building like i have. Read new books to expand your intellectual awareness. Get back in college and fucking study more than you usually would. What helps me is reviewing the material at least twice during the week of the exam. You will succeed if you push yourself, and you should treat the weed as a reward, not a substitute. Weed can help be a persons driving force if they are already in the mind set to be driven. It's not the weed that causes people to slack, it's their own image of themselves. Good luck.

  18. Mate, A Levels or BTEC or whatever you did at college aren't the be all and end all of life bro. So what you didn't get your merit? Go out and find a job man, London is buzzing for fresh faced youngsters such as yourself. Try and work on your confidence and self esteem etc and make new friends + meet people.

    I know how cold and unforgiving the UK can be. Life is never totally fucked; you can always find positive aspects to it, if only that you're alive. Stop the self harm. If you need something to replace that adrenaline rush with take another drug. Hell, i know how irresponsible that sounds but sometimes people need something to alter states of consciousness to stay sane. I'm a little bit loopy right now off another drug so i don't really know if my post is going to ake all that much sense...

  20. I was like this before when grades were sent out, my parents saw and shit got real bad real quick but you gotta remember that it WILL PASS and this just a bump in you life that you hopefully can get over best of luck from the states my friend :)
