Hi all, I'm new to the forum and currently reside in California. My company produces packaged food products that could easily be turned into edibles. My question is: do I need a license to manufacture edibles? My kitchen is fully licensed already to produce perishable products (refrigeration required). My idea is to buy infused butter and/or honey and reformulate the non-edible product into an edible one. Further, I have other product ideas as well. Can I formulate a product's intensity (light, medium, super strong etc) by using an oil of some type? (Sort of like adjusting for sweetness by adding sugar.) Thanks very much for any guidance.
