So i have been reading up on good grow lights since i plan to change my stealth to a good setup when i move out (6 months) and i have read on MH HPS and LED and LED seems like more expensive to buy but cheaper and better in the long run since there is little heat.... and now im reading on here that they are not worth it... Can someone that has grown with both please help me? thanks Miracle
led seems to be better suited to specific grows if youre not lookin for a ton of plants, but good yield on a concentrated few if ventilation/heat will be an issue for you if electricity is an issue if you want to blast out a SOG, replacing the plants as often as possible, then HID is probably the way to go my experience, I do have success with LED and a small number of plants (like, keepin a mom long term and such) my plants love them in veg / stasis, but ive never flowered with them, so couldnt tell ya about that. i think smokinVtec has had some pretty good results with his own LED lights, maybe check out his thread.
