I have a cheap VIVOSUN 300W (135W) LED grow light and was wondering if pairing it with a 250W Growlush HPS would be a good combination? Its for the one plant in a 2x3 tent. Thank you!
I found that cheaper LEDs give disappointing yields. I always opt for the more expensive option when it comes to lighting just because of this. In your case combining the two lights will probably produce a better yield due to more light. I wouldn't necessarily say that those two will be a good combo but the two of them should be better than just one.
Yeah figured. I dont need it to be top quality im just wanting to get a fair amount from a white widow auto. They dont have to be the densist buds but would prefer more than just an ounce if possible.
Cheap LED gives disappoint yield is mostly true. If you have HPS at no cost and you can cool it, add it. More light is more light. Then later replace the HPS with a good LED. If you're going to buy the HPS, buy a good LED.
